The human mind is a powerful thing. It can generate its own idea naturally. Human beings can think of anything, anytime. Their thoughts and beliefs by birth become a part of their life. With simply a belief in their mind, they can generate a whole idea about everything in their life.
Superstition is also a part of every human life. This type of thinking is their own creation. The old thoughts and beliefs that they have been developing since their birth are put in practice.

Superstition makes a man weak mentally. He always thinks negatively. He develops a fear in himself. He is afraid of taking steps in life. He is compelled to think that his future is going to be horrible because of the superstition he has developed in himself.

Many people think that their day is not going to be bright unless they have had a look at their horoscopes. It is surprising that most of the daily horoscopes are right. This is another superstition. People never take it as luck. Luckily the superstition goes well many times in our life.

Apart from horoscopes and astrology, people still believe that bathing in holy rivers makes one pure. If one sees a cat crossing one's way, one takes it to be as unlucky, while it is believed one should not cut one's nails in the nighttime.
