Corrugated Galvanized Iron (CGI) sheet

It is popular in budget houses and industrial buildings. It is portable, durable, fire resisting. It comes in diff. thicknesses; 22 gauged is the most common. Slope maintained is more than 1:4(ht: l) and the recommended overlap is not less than 15 cm.
It is fastened on rafters and purlins with “J“hook on washers. It is noisy in rain and poor heat resistant, which can be overcome to some extent by provision of false ceiling.
